Why take our skills based IELTS for UKVI test preparation classes?

Because UK Visa and Immigration rules have changed

From 26 March 2027, anyone seeking Permanent Settlement (also known as Indefinite Leave to Remain) in the UK will need to pass an approved test, such as IELTS for UKVI, at B2 level. This is already now a requirement for a wide range of UK visas.

To pass the IELTS for UKVI test at B2 it is necessary to get 5.5 in all four skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Although it is a similar standard, this is different from achieving Cambridge B2 First, which takes into account the overall score, allowing students who are weaker in one skill to balance out their score by being stronger in another skill. For the IELTS for UKVI test, falling short in just one skill will mean you miss the required standard, even if you do well in the other three skills.

Our skills based IELTS for UKVI preparation classes will help get you to the required standard in all four skills.

Suitable for those in the UK on a short term Visitor Visa as well as those already resident in the UK.
